TEACHING IN VIRTUAL ENVIRONMENT WEBINAR SERIES
The Teaching in Virtual Environments webinar series included nine interactive 90-minute sessions organized by the APRU Global Health Working Group on Education and Technology in collaboration with University of Oregon. Due to COVID-19, faculty were asked to convert courses to online formats in a very short period of time, with little previous experience in online instructional design. Participants developed and practiced skills, as well as shared experiences with other participants in virtual breakout sessions and full group discussions as they prepared for the fall of remote instruction. Workshops were facilitated by Elly Vandegrift (University of Oregon), along several experts from other APRU member universities.
