
Tecnológico de Monterrey will host the 16th annual APRU Global Health Conference, which will take place in Mexico City from October 25–28, 2023.
This year’s conference theme is health equity.
Abstract submissions will open in early 2023.
The 2023 Student Poster Contest will also be held in conjunction with the conference. Submissions will be accepted beginning in March 2023.

2020 APRU Global Health Program Conference

The conference provided the opportunity for speakers to present their research on key themes including global health security, COVID-19, the lifecourse perspective, migration, women’s health, and aging. Featured speakers include Margaret Chan, Emeritus Director-General of WHO, Minghui Ren, Assistant Director-General, WHO, and Alejandro Gaviria, President of Universidad de los Andes and Former Minister of Health and Social Protection, Colombia.
We had 2,470 participants over the three days plus approx. 1,000 people in China joining via livestream. This included:
- Participants from 53 economies
- 39 of 56 APRU members engaged, including most of the new members
- 315 external universities/orgs
- 33 Speakers and moderators
